Council of the CIS Defense Ministers organized a competition recognizing the best media report covering the CIS military forces

According to the information on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Council of the CIS Defense Ministers celebrates its 25^th anniversary in 2017. In accordance with the Decision of the Council of the CIS Defense Ministers of 30 November 2016 on the joint events, devoted to the 25^th anniversary, a competition is held to praise the best media report on the CIS military forces.

The purpose of the competition is to develop multilateral military cooperation of the CIS member states, with a focus on maintaining common security, strengthening of good neighborly relations and mutual understanding between nations.
