II Youth Theater Forum of the CIS, Georgia and the Baltic States kicked off in Minsk

According to the Press Office of the CIS Executive Committee, the Forum is organized by the International Confederation of Theater Associations, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and the Republican Theater of the Belarussian Drama under the auspices of the Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation.

The Advisory Board of distinguished stage producers and drama critics have been watching the plays staged by young playwrights, stage producers and designers for almost a year. The plays will be performed in the leading theaters of Minsk.

It is not only stage producers who compete but stage designers and playwrights as well.

The best plays will be published in a special edition for the opening of the Forum. Moreover, all the participants of the Forum may participate in master-classes, workshops and meetings with theater professionals from other countries.
