Meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government to take place in Astana on 2 November

The Council of the CIS Heads of Government will exchange views on relevant issues of CIS economic cooperation and will set the date and place of their next meeting.

The draft agenda includes 13 issues related to cooperation in various fields.

The meeting will discuss the CIS Cooperation Agreement on Preparedness to Nuclear Accidents or Radiation Emergencies and Mutual Assistance in Liquidation of their Consequences, amendment to the Intergovernmental Trust Program on Reclamation of the Territories of the States Exposed to Uranium Mining Operations, the Draft Concept of CIS Cooperation on the Development of Production of High-Tech Energy Equipment and the Action, the CIS Convention on Cooperation in the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.

The CIS Heads of Government will sign the Protocol on Exchange of Information in Electronic Form among the CIS Fiscal Authorities to Support Tax Administration and analyze the Draft CIS Cooperation Agreement on Prevention and Elimination of Centers of Diseases and Forest Pests in Border Areas.
