Research and practice conference “Constitutional Right to Favorable Environment: Issues of Legal Regulation” takes place in St. Petersburg

The event was attended by Member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrey Kutepov, Member of the Government of St. Petersburg – Chairman of St. Petersburg Committee for the Municipal Improvement Vladimir Rublevskiy, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Sergey Soloviev, Members of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Denis Chetyrbok, Sergey Kupchenko and Konstantin Chebykin, Rector of St. Petersburg State University Nikolai Kropachev.

Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology Natalia Amburtseva reported on the IPA CIS activities in the sphere of ensuring the human rights to favorable environment.

The list of speakers also included Head of the School of Law of St. Petersburg State University Sergey Belov, Vice-Rector of the Russian State Hydrometeorological University Ivan Mushket, Rector of Pushkin Leningrad State University Stanislav Yeremeyev, representatives of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, staff members of Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library, St. Petersburg Committee for Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety, and St. Petersburg State Forest Technical University of S. M. Kirov.
