Tavricheskiy Palace welcomes participants of the international theater festival of the CIS and the Baltic Region

The 18th international theater festival of the CIS and the Baltic Region Rendez-vous in Russia has brought together theater troupes from the former Soviet Union. Its guests and participants from the CIS countries have come to the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS headquarters. The visitors had a chance to appreciate the historical and cultural landmark of the 18th century, to learn more about the history of the Russian parliamentarism and the IPA CIS activities.

In 1992, the Tavricheskiy Palace became the headquarters of the IPA CIS; now it is the center of the CIS parliamentarism.

The Festival is hosted with the support of the IPA CIS, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), St. Petersburg Committee on Culture and the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation.
