YIPA CIS Representatives Took Part in Forum of Young Parliamentarians

Today, Moscow hosted a plenary session of the Forum of Young Parliamentarians “Youth of the 21^st Century: Preserving Heritage, Developing Cooperation, Bringing the Future Closer”. The forum takes place on 17-20 May 2022 within the framework of the celebration of the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of the Chamber of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko took part in the meeting. She noted that over the ten years of the work of the Chamber of Young Legislators, it had become a well-established expert institution, a working parliamentary body with a rich agenda, unique formats and a solid portfolio of implemented initiatives.

Coordinator of the Youth CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, member of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic Emin Hajiyev delivered a welcoming speech and recalled that this year the YIPA CIS celebrated its tenth anniversary.
