Youth as a Driver of State Development: CIS Youth Policy Debated at Tavricheskiy Palace

The CIS Youth Interparliamentary Forum “Young Parliamentarians —Looking into the Future of the Commonwealth" is being held today at the Tavricheskiy Palace, the IPA CIS headquarters.

The youth policy in the CIS Member Nations was discussed within the framework of four thematic roundtables: “Current directions of legislative activity in the field of youth policy and ensuring the rights and interests of youth”, “Youth Parliamentarism in the CIS: Experience of Youth Parliamentary Structures and Prospects for Strengthening International Cooperation”, “Youth Public Diplomacy: Interregional Cooperation and Common Interests of the CIS Countries” and  “Youth and the Russian language: Methods of Preserving and Developing the Language of Interethnic Communication in the CIS”.
