Dmitriy Kobitskiy Met With Leadership of Russian Center of Training in Electoral Technologies

On 14 September 2021, the meeting of Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Director of the Russian Center of Training in Electoral Technologies at the Central Election Commission Natalia Artykaeva took place in the Tavricheskiy palace – the IPA CIS headquarters.

The parties discussed the preparation for the international monitoring during the voting days at the elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on 17, 18 and 19 September 2021.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy recalled that the IPA CIS delegation would take part in the monitoring of the parliamentary elections at the invitation of Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin and assured that the observers would base their work on the Russian Federation legislation, impartially and in compliance with the principles of non-interference, neutrality and norms of international law.

In turn, Natalia Artykaeva noted that the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation was interested in the monitoring of the upcoming elections. In this regard, along with the training materials for members of the election commissions at all levels, the CEC and the RCTET prepared methodological materials in the format of brochures and mini-posters for observers.
