IPA CIS Observers Attended Opening of Polling Stations at Presidential Elections

IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator, member of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Rufat Guliev, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Aidyn Jafarov, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD Ivan Musket began monitoring at the polling station No. 109 at the Nikolai Gogol lyceum. The polling station opened at 7:00.

The observers also attended polling stations No. 108 and 122 among the first.

The international observers spoke to members of election commissions, national observers and voting citizens.

During the day, the Observer Team members will work in accordance with the individual routes at polling stations in Moldova – including those where citizens of Transnistria will vote. Monitoring is also carried out at foreign polling stations in Baku (Azerbaijan Republic), Minsk (Republic of Belarus), Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russian Federation).
