IPA CIS Observers Visit Opening of Polling Stations at Presidential Elections in Republic of Moldova

The IPA CIS Observer Team composed of CIS MPs and the IPA CIS Council Secretariat staff members monitored the opening of polling stations at the presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova.

Team Coordinator, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Adil Aliyev and Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy attended the opening of the polling station No. 109 at the Nikolai Gogol Lyceum.

During the monitoring, the Observer Team members paid special attention to the measures taken to protect the participants of the electoral process from contracting the coronavirus infection.

The observers will continue their work at polling station in Chisinau and other settlements, as well as at the foreign polling stations in Baku (Azerbaijan Republic), Minsk (Republic of Belarus), Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russian Federation).
