IPA CIS and Russian Foundation for Free Elections Strengthen Cooperation

Today, in the margins of the Research and Practice Conference “Youth Participation in Electoral Process: Experience of IPA CIS Member Nations” IPA CIS Council Secretary General Dmitriy Kobitskiy met with Executive Director of the Russian Foundation for Free Elections,  IPA CIS IIMDD expert Maxim Leskov in the Tavricheskiy Palace – CIS Interparliamentary Assembly headquarters.

The parties discussed continued and productive cooperation of the two organizations. The Russian Foundation for Free Elections awarded Dmitriy Kobitskiy a memorial sign for his personal contribution to the development of the electoral culture. Maxim Leskov noted the remarkable job of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, including the young voters outreach, promotion of legal awareness, training of expert community, development and synthesis of theory and practice of electoral law and processes across the CIS.

The Executive Director of the Russian Foundation for Free Elections is one of the experts of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD).
