Kyrgyz MP Iskender Matraimov to Head IPA CIS Observer Team at Parliamentary Elections in Moldova

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko appointed Deputy Chair of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on Law Enforcement, Combating Crime and Corruption Iskender Matraimov the IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator at the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova.

Observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly performed long-term monitoring of the elections. On the voting day, more than 100 IPA CIS observers will work in the Republic of Moldova and at foreign polling stations in other countries.

The IPA CIS Observer Team will monitor the elections as part of the Observer Mission from the Commonwealth of Independent States, headed by IPA CIS Council Secretary General Dmitriy Kobitskiy.

Parliamentary elections in Moldova are scheduled for 11 July 2021.
