Results of IIMDD Offices' Work in 2023 Were Summarized in Tavrichesky Palace

A meeting on summarizing the results of the work of the offices of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations in 2023 and planning the work for 2024 was held in the Tavricheskiy Palace, St. Petersburg.

Opening the annual meeting, Secretary General of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Dmitriy Kobitskiy noted the importance of the IPA CIS IIMDD offices in the activities of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat and stressed that they do a great job in organizing events and conducting research on the development of democracy and parliamentarism in the IPA CIS Member Nations.

Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD Ivan Mushket informed that the main part of the activities envisaged by the work plans of the offices for 2023 has been completed.

Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD Baku Office Ramin Rzayev, Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD Bishkek Office Islambek Musabekov, Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD Yerevan office Vahram Avetisyan made reports on summarizing the results of the work this year. They showed the results of scientific, organizational and publishing activities of the offices, as well as cooperation with partners from higher education institutions of the CIS countries.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Aydin Jafarov, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council and Resident Representative of the National Assembly of the CIS Member Nations Hayk Chilingarian, Deputy IPA CIA Council and Plenipotentiary of Jogorku Kenesh Nurbek Satvaldiyev, also spoke during the meeting.
