IPA CIS Observers Outlined Working Schedule for Election Day in Belarus

The IPA CIS Observer Team at the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus held an organizational meeting in Minsk.

The meeting was opened by IPA CIS Observer Team Coordinator, First Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdujabbor Azizi and Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitriy Kobitskiy. The meeting outlined the goals for the short-term monitoring, as well as the main principles and standards for the observers while performing their duties.

Head of the expert group of International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations Dmitriy Baryshnikov shared the results of the long-term monitoring and the analytical and information materials prepared by the experts.

Acting Director of the IIMDD IPA CIS Ekaterina Goloulina briefed the participants of the meeting on the schedules of the Observer Team members, including on the election day.
