Young voters learned about the details of the electoral process in the Republic of Armenia

During the second half of the year, the IIMDD IPA CIS Yerevan Office supported by the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia was implementing the educational program “Young voters of the Republic of Armenia”.

The program focused on informing voters about the changes introduced in the Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia in the run-up to the 2017 parliamentary elections, and aimed at more efficient implementation of the electoral process.

The included around 1600 students from the 10 largest universities of the Republic of Armenia, including Yerevan State University, Russian – Armenian (Slavonic) University, and the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia.
