Experts Presented Recommendations on Use of Model Law on CIS Ecotourism

On 10 November 2022, within the framework of the International Tourism Forum Travel Hub “Commonwealth”, a seminar on the development of the Recommendations on the Use of the Model Law on Ecotourism took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace.
The event brought together the representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, executive authorities, regional and local authorities, educational and research institutions, business, as well as invited CIS experts.
Deputy Chair of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology, member of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Agriculture and Food Policy and Environmental Management Viktor Novozhilov opened the seminar. He emphasized the relevance of the document adopted 3 years ago by the IPA CIS Permanent Commission. The Law is aimed at developing of a market of ecological tourism services and comfortable environment for the interaction of its participants.
As a result of the seminar, the participants adopted the draft Recommendations that indicate the importance of the Model Law on Ecotourism, which contributed to the development of positive trends in the development of ecotourism.
