Countering terrorism, biological and chemical weapons will be discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The agenda of the session includes revisions to the model Penal and Penal Process Code for the CIS Member Nations to include provisions against human trafficking, Commentary to the model law on Scrutiny of Effective Legal Acts and Legal Acts in Drafting for the Corruption Element, Recommendations for the Internalization of the 1972 CIS Convention on the Prohibition of Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological)and Toxic Weapons and their Elimination in the national laws of the CIS Member Nations. The session will also address issues related to the internalization of the 1993 International Convention against Chemical weapons in the national laws of the CIS Member Nations.

The agenda also includes issues related to countering technological terrorism, protection of state secrets, draft model text on NGOs, as well as progress towards the International Conference Role of Parliamentarians in Nuclear Disarmament and Nonproliferation.
