Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations expands the fields of cooperation

Today the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations coordinator, Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the sixth calling Bakhtiar Maken, and Chairman of the Council of St. Petersburg regional civic organization for the promotion of youth international cooperation “Eurasian Youth Assembly” Ivan Esipov signed a protocol on cooperation intent in the library of the North-West Institute of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

According to the Protocol, both parties will work for the development of mutually-profitable cooperation in the following areas:

-         development and implementation of joint international projects and youth initiatives;

-         preservation of common historical heritage and cultural values and promotion of the achievements of the CIS member-states;

-         R&D in the areas of the IPA CIS activity;

-         publication of scientific materials in the areas of common interest by “Eurasian Youth Assembly” with the assistance of IPA CIS;

-         creation of favorable conditions for the implementation of regular contacts of civic youth organizations of the IPA CIS member nations;

-         exchange of scientific, reference and methodological materials and publications;

-         draft model laws and other documents affecting the rights and legitimate interests of the youth.
