President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon visited IPA CIS Headquarters

President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon met with Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Head of the IPA CIS Secretariat Yuriy Osipov during his visit to St. Petersburg to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Yuriy Osipov assured the leader of the Republic of Moldova of the IPA CIS interest in strengthening cooperation not only in the sphere of parliamentary relations, but also in humanitarian, cultural and spiritual areas. He also informed President Igor Dodon on the results of his meeting with Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir, which had taken place in the Tavricheskiy Palace a week before.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Russian Federation Andrei Neguța, Head of Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Entity Irina Vlach, and Secretary of the Commission of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on Economy, Budget and Finance Vladimir Golovatyuk.
