Meeting of IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Economy Held in Tavricheskiy Palace

Under the leadership of Chair of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Economy, Rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics Igor Maksimtsev and with the participation of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics Julia Malevich experts and specialists from the Commonwealth countries discussed the work progress on the draft chapters of the Special Provisions of the Model CIS Tax Code and the revised Model Law on Standardization and the Model Law on Strategic Planning.

MPs discussed the reports of Head of the Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Innovation Division of the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee Timur Mansurov on the work of the specialized bodies of the Commonwealth in expanding scientific, technical and technological cooperation of the CIS Member Nations and member of the Union of Arbitration Managers “Self-Regulation Organization “DELO“ Elena Pavlova on the relevance of the draft Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency (Bankruptcy).

Head and partner of the “Beat Chance” SA Alexander Dolgov made a report on the working group activities on the development of the draft Model Law on Platform Work.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Musalimov, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova, Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Alexey Dolzhikov, the CIS experts,  representatives of relevant agencies, research centers and leading universities, and stuff members of the IPA CIS Secretariat attended the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, the members of the Expert Advisory Board took part in the opening ceremony of the XI Annual International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective”, organized by the St. Petersburg State University of Economics.
