CIS Experts Will Use IPA CIS Draft Model Law on Digital Health in Work with Ministries

On 29 June 2022, a meeting of the Working Group of the CIS Executive Committee on the Integration of National E-Health Systems took place via videoconferencing.

The event was attended by representatives of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the bodies of integration associations: the CIS Executive Committee, the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education, Executive Secretary of the IPA CIS – Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications Expert Council Alexander Surygin represented the IPA CIS Council Secretariat at the event.

During the meeting, the participants discussed information on the results of the First International Forum on Telemedicine and eHealth (Nur-Sultan, 13 May 2022) and on the implementation of the Virtual Refrigerator Program Project in the Republic of Armenia. Also, following the report of Secretary of the Working Group, Deputy Director of the State Institution “Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Medical Technologies, Informatization, Management and Health Economics of Public Health” (Republic of Belarus) Alexander Semenov, the Working Group decided to propose to submit this report at a meeting of the relevant IPA CIS Permanent Commission request from the IPA CIS Council Secretariat the draft Model Law on Digital Health for use in work with ministries of health.
