Dmitriy Kobitskiy Participated in Opening of Photo Exhibition in Parliament of St. Petersburg Dedicated to 75th Anniversary of Victory

On 23 June, the exhibition “One for Everybody” dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945 opened at the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg.

The opening ceremony was attended by IPA CIS Council Secretary General Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Deputy Secretary General – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ayk Chilingaryan, as well as Consuls General of the CIS Member Nations and members of the Legislative Assembly.

The exhibition presents the archive photos of the war years, provided by the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The exhibition was organized with the support of the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War History, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, the Central State Archive of Film, Photo, and Audio Documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Public Diplomacy Institute of Uzbekistan at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and prominent writer and military historian Gafur Shermatov.
