Parliament of Republic of Kazakhstan Approved Plenipotentiary Representative at IPA CIS

The Bureau of the Mazhilis and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the candidacy of Igor Musalimov for the position of Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament at the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.

Igor Musalimov was born on 12 June 1961 in the city of Karaganda. In 1988 he graduated from the Karaganda State University. He worked in public authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan in Belarus, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Georgia, and Moldova.

He holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Second Class. Since June 2019 until his new appointment, he has held the position of Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
