Dmitriy Kobitskiy: "The Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Address to the nation outlines new ways and oppportunities to address the global challenges"

Dmitriy Kobitskiy:

On 2 September 2019, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the people of Kazakhstan at the joint meeting of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the speech “Constructive Public Debate as a Basis of Stability and Prosperity of Kazakhstan” and outlined the areas of the country’s development in the face of globalization. Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitriy Kobitskiy sent his response.

According to Dmitriy Kobitskiy, the address is a milestone for the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Secretary General particularly noted the issues of small and medium-sized businesses, developing education and science, modernization of higher and secondary specialized education, and stressed the relevance of the active digitalization of the government processes and expressed the confidence that the e-government services provided to people and businesses would benefit economic activity and increase investment attractiveness of the country.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy highlighted that the range of initiatives identified in the Address outlined new ways and opportunities to address the global challenges and expressed confidence that all the priority objectives of the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the following years would be successfully implemented.
