“Woman of the Year — 2020” Awarding Ceremony Took Place in Tavricheskiy Palace

Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat took part in the awarding ceremony for winners of the “Woman of the Year 2020” contest, held in the Tavricheskiy Palace, the headquarters of the IPA CIS.

Dmitriy Kobitskiy presented rewards in the nomination “Armed Forces and Law Enforcement”. Head of the Investigation Department for Transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Northwestern Federal District Elena Maltseva was the winner in this nomination.

The awarding ceremony for the winners of the “Woman of the Year” contest is held annually in St. Petersburg on the eve of International Women's Day.

International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March in the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation and Ukraine. In the Republic of Armenia, it is celebrated as Women's Day, as well as in the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan celebrates Mother's Day.
