IPA CIS IIMDD Developments on Monitoring at Foreign Polling Stations Reviewed at Forum in Moscow

On 2 – 3 November 2022, the final forum “Community” was held in Moscow, organized by the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

Within the framework of the Forum a presentation of the project “Monitoring at Foreign Polling Stations: Examination of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation” was organized.

A report was presented by Chair of the Coordination Council of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation for Public Control of Voting Maxim Grigoriev.

Head of the Analytical Department of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD) Roman Amburtsev took part in the discussion and presented the Institute’s developments on the methodology of international observation of elections and referenda at foreign polling stations.

Member of the CEC of Russian Federation Pavel Andreev, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Federation Vladimir Churov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Angola Vladimir Tararov, Executive Director of the Association “Independent Public Monitoring” Alena Bulgakova also took part in the event.
