MPs of Jogorku Kenesh Help Citizens of Kyrgyz Republic During State of Emergency

The MPs are supporting the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic during the state of emergency introduced in the Kyrgyz Republic to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection.

The members of parliament conduct local awareness-raising activities, as well as hand out groceries, medical products, and disinfectants to low-income and large families, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable categories of the population.

MPs Ulugbek Ormonov and Ulan Primov helped families in need of the Uzgen District by handing over 50 tons of flour.

MPs Torobay Zulpukarov and Azamat Arapbaev handed over groceries and 20,000 medical masks to inhabitants of the Nookat District. MP Baktybek Sydykov handed over 3.5 million Kyrgyzstani soms, two ambulances and 20,000 medical masks to inhabitants of the Nooken District. Deputy Parkhat Tulendybaev handed over 7,000 masks and antiseptics to the personnel of regional administrations and hospitals.

Other MPs also provided humanitarian aid to the citizens of the Republic.

Furthermore, due to the public transport shutdown in Bishkek, measures were proposed to organize the transportation of doctors and nurses to healthcare facilities. All related expenses are covered from the personal funds of the MP Marat Amankulov.
