Dushanbe hosted XI session of the Advisory Board of Heads of State Reserves bodies in the CIS member nations

According to the Department of Economic Cooperation of the CIS Executive Committee, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, hosted XI session of the Advisory Board of Heads of State Reserves bodies in the CIS member nations.

The session was attended by the heads and deputy heads of State Reserves bodies from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and a representative of the CIS Executive Committee.

The agenda of the Advisory Board included issues of cooperation of The CIS State Reserves bodies in the field of storage and handling of state reserves, their usage for emergency mitigation and humanitarian aid.

The implementation of stage II (2012-2015) of the CIS Economic Development Strategy up to 2020 and the draft of the implementation plan for stage III (2016-2020) were also on the agenda.

Summarizing the results, the performance of the Advisory Board was recognized as satisfactory.

Sergey Shaginyan, the head of the Agency for State Reserves of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations was elected the next Chairperson of the Advisory Board.

XII session of the Advisory Board is scheduled for September 2016 in Erevan, Armenia.
