The meeting of the Interstate Council in science, technology and innovation cooperation (IC STI) will be held in Minsk

On 12–13 October 2016, the 19th meeting of the Interstate Council in science, technology and innovation cooperation (IC STI) will be held in the capital of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the Press Office of the CIS Executive Committee, the event will be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Heads of state bodies responsible for scientific, technical and innovation cooperation are invited to attend it. It is expected that heads of relevant ministries and agencies of CIS member nations and also of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania and Hungary will participate in the meeting.

They will discuss actual scientific, technical and innovative cooperation between countries of Central and Eastern Europe and its perspectives as well as key issues of implementation of the CIS Interstate innovation cooperation program until 2020.
