VI CIS International Festival of School Sports “Commonwealth” took place in Perm

VI CIS International Festival of School Sports “Commonwealth”, dedicated to the Year of Culture in the CIS, took place in Perm (Russian Federation) on 3–8 November 2018.

The event was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, the CIS Executive Committee, the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the National Russian School Sports Federation, the CIS Intergovernmental Humanitarian Cooperation Fund , with the support of the Perm Krai authorities.

During the six days young athletes participated in competitions, interactive events, visited places of interest and museums of Perm, tested their knowledge of Russian in local schools, presented their culture. The Festival created unforgettable impressions for the participants, gave them an opportunity to make friends with their peers from other countries, learn about the rich history and traditions of the Russian Federation.
