IPA CIS Observers Monitor Elections to National Assembly of Republic of Serbia

Today, the IPA CIS International Observers will visit polling stations in Belgrade and various regions of the country. 8253 polling stations have been opened for voting, the total number of voters is 6583665.

Yesterday, the IPA CIS Observer Team met with Chairperson of the Republican Electoral Commission of the Republic of Serbia Vladimir Dimitrievech and Head of the Department for Work with Observes Aleksandar Djordjevich. During the conversation, observers learned about the structure and work of the electoral management bodies in preparation for the parliamentary elections.

Furthermore, the IPA CIS Observers met with member of the Main Committee of the Serbian Progressive Party Dushan Kozorev and representative of the youth wing of the party Milos Kovachevich. During the meeting, the party leaders spoke about the features of the campaign.
