IPA CIS observers are carrying out long-term monitoring of the election to Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On 17 and 18 October 2015, IPA CIS observers, experts of the IPA CIS Council and the International Institute for Monitoring Democratic and Parliamentary Process observed the arrangement of the upcoming election in the towns of Gyandzha, Samukh, Shamkir and in Shamkir district and Samukh district.
On 17 October, the IPA CIS observers held a meeting with the head of the executive authority of Gyandzha Elmar Veliev. He talked about the measures taken to arrange the election to Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan that will be held on 1 November 2015.
The observers also attended a few Election Commissions in the country and met the head of the executive authority of Shamkir district Alimpash Mamedov and the head of the executive authority of the Samukh district Ali Godzhaev.
