The IPA CIS is invited to observe the referendum in the Republic of Armenia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Galust Saakyan invited IPA CIS Council Chairperson Valentina Matvienko to observe the referendum.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia dated 8 October 2015 the referendum on the Constitutional reform is scheduled for 6 December.

In September 2013 the Special Commission was assigned in the Republic of Armenia intended to work out the constitutional reform. The reform is aimed at establishing stable democratic system in the country and complete the implementation of the rule of law principles.
