Preservation of the cultural heritage of the Commonwealth countries was discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

A regular meeting of the Working Group for Drafting the Convention on the Preservation of the Cultural Heritage of the CIS Member Nations at the IPA CIS PC on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace.

Chairman of the IPA CIS PC on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport Sergey Rybakov, a member of the Group, opened the meeting. .

Advisor to the Director of the Russian Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage Sergei Zhitenev reported on the amended draft Convention on the Preservation of the Cultural Heritage of the CIS Member Nations, which was followed with the discussion by the Group members of the updated text of the document and comments and proposals received from the IPA CIS parliaments.
