The IPA CIS continues its work on the draft Law Dictionary

The meeting of the IPA CIS working group on drafting the Dictionary of Legal Terms used in the preparation of legislative acts in the field of state-building and local government was held in the IPA CIS HQ.
The meeting was opened by the Head of the working group, Chairman of the Committee on the State-Building and Local Government of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan State Construction and Local Self-Government Abdurakhim Holikzoda.
The members of the working group agreed on the structure of the draft and discussed its content, and commended the experts for the detailed consideration of the terms from the perspective of the national legislation of the Commonwealth countries.
The meeting brought together Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on State Building, Local Government, and Regulations Leonid Tsuprik, Secretary of the Committee on Economic Policy, Innovation Development and Entrepreneurship of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sarsenbay Yengsegenov, Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the Office of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic Chyngyzbek Berdimuratov, Head of the Office of the Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Veronika Bodiul, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Nuskabaj, academia and Secretary of the IPA CIS PC on Practices of State-Building and Local Government Yelena Fominenko.
