Participants of the VIII Nevsky International Ecological Congress planted trees in the Tavricheskiy garden

This annual initiative in the framework of the VIII Nevsky International Ecological Congress, aimed at restoring lost trees in the Tavricheskiy garden, has become a good tradition. This year the ceremony was attended by President of the Organizing Committee of the Congress, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, members of the Organizing Committee of the Congress, members of parliamentary delegations of the CIS member states, as well as foreign guests. They planted 25 lime trees and 25 lilac bushes to contribute to the preservation of the historical landscape of the Tavricheskiy garden.
