IPA CIS Delegation Took Part in Flower-laying Ceremony at Piskarevsky Memorial Cemetery

In Saint-Petersburg, at the Piskarevsky Memorial Cemetery, a solemn mournful ceremony was held to mark the 79^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The columns of participants marched with flowers along the alleys of the memorial, where hundreds of thousands of siege survivors and defenders of Leningrad are buried. The delegation laid flowers at the Motherland monument.

The IPA CIS delegation included Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Chilingaryan, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Shabdanbek Alishev and Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdukhalil Gafurzoda and other staff members of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat.
