Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council will pay official visits to the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates

During her official visit to Muscat, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko will have a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said and with President of the State Council Yahya bin Mahfouz al-Manzari.
The parties will discuss the future of interparliamentary cooperation and exchange opinions on current regional and international problems.
The programme of the official visit to the UAE includes meetings with Vice-President and Prime Minister of the country, Governor of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the UAE Amal Al Qubaisi.
A wide range of
issues are on the agenda, e.g. the cooperation on the international stage,
problems of the Middle East, and anti-terrorism efforts.
