Project of CIS Festival of New Talents Won Contest Made in St. Petersburg

Within the framework of the Festival “Made in St. Petersburg”, a competition was held for the best project in the field of culture among professional creative unions for its implementation in St. Petersburg next year.

The project “Commonwealth of Academic Arts” was presented by “Art-Petersburg” Foundation of People’s Artist of the USSR Irina Bogacheva.

The symposium festival is expected to promote young talents from the CIS countries. It is planned that within the framework of the “Commonwealth of Academic Arts” there will be a research and practice conference dedicated to the history of the formation of academic arts across the Commonwealth and latest achievements in this field of each country, master classes for CIS young artists and vocalists, an exhibition of famous CIS artists, a concert of opera stars from Commonwealth countries, etc.

The winning project will be submitted to the St. Petersburg Committee for Culture with a recommendation to assist in its implementation.

The competition was co-organized by the Coordination Council of Creative Unions of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Union of Cinematographers. Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport Igor Minin was a jury member.
