VIII St. Petersburg International Labour Forum

20-22 February 2024

The VIII St. Petersburg International Labour Forum will be held on 20-22 February 2024. The forum brings together representatives of the professional community, government, business, education, and trade unions in order to jointly design relevant solutions for the spheres of labor, employment and labor migration. The main theme of the forum will be “Labor, Employment, Human Capital: New Challenges and New Solutions”.

This is the largest discussion platform in the Eurasian space in the field of labor relations, where the whole range of issues of the labour market and economy, the need to create staffing systems and exchange the best HR practices and techniques, modernization of the state employment Service, the formation of a common labour market of the CIS countries is considered.

The forum is organized by the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the St. Petersburg Government and St. Petersburg State University. The IPA CIS HQ – Tavricheskiy Palace – will traditionally be the venue for the migration track of the forum.

As part of the forum the international conference “The Concept of Common Migration Area of the CIS Member Nations: Common Principles and National Interests” will take place at the Tavricheskiy Palace on 20 February 2024.
